11/2/2023 - Reggie and I took happy, sweet Lana to our FL Vet this morning for routine shots and a check-up. A swelling under her stomach was diagnosed as a very dangerous spleen expansion with abdominal blood draining – a possible cancer which might explode at any moment. Lana was put to sleep about 2PM today. We are heartbroken and sad. We have been blessed with three wonderful years with her. We are so sad.
5-29-21 - I adopted my Lesly from you guys over 13 years ago. Sadly our Lesly passed away yesterday and I would love to add her to your rainbow bridge page. Lesly was a very caring strong willed dog. She was the alpha in the house and all of our dogs gave her complete respect. We will miss her so much and know she is in doggie heaven demanding respect.
6/16/2025 - It is with great sadness that we say our goodbyes to our sweet beagle, Libby (fna Sassy III) . We adopted her from you in November, 2014 after hearing her story of abandonment and surviving a boar attack. She lived a month shy of her 15th birthday. She was such a sweet girl but so stubborn and very food motivated. She loved her hikes and camping, too. She must have flunked out of hunting school (she had H25 tattooed in her ear) as she could only hunt turtles. She was so loving and loved by everyone in our family. Snuggling under the blankets was her happy place. Her perch on top of the couch is missing her, too. The house feels empty and we miss her soulful eyes.
It is with deep sadness that I must tell everyone that Boo (Summer's baby boy) has gone to heaven. Boo dug out of Jean's back yard tonight. Her daughter was home & aware of it within moments and jumped the fence to try to find him. This was his first time digging out. Boo had already been hit & killed by a car before she got to him. Needless to say, everyone who has met Boo is deeply affected by this--and even those of us who had not yet. Most especially, a few extra prayers for Debra, Jean and Rikkele are needed tonight as they are so very sad. Rest in Peace, little Boo. I hope you are running & playing with Sarge & Jimmy!!
