Lulu's pup - Oreo
Lulu's pup - Oreo

Oreo is doing great. She has been such a blessing to us & has really enriched our lives. So far we have had great advice from our vet & have really had great success with housetraining. I will send you pictures this week. Thank you. Michelle Dyman I just wanted to let the rescue know that Siena (Oreo) has been doing great! In fact you can look for her in the next pet training video by Animal Planet for new dog owners. She brings a smile to all our faces everyday. Thank you again for everything. Michelle

Leroy
Leroy

to hear from you. LeRoy is a treasure. He has developed his personality and his colors are actually changing a bit as he matures...more black and his eyes have darkened a little. He has learned 'down' but not 'stay' since we have had him. 'Sit' is still his best command. He goes to the dog park every week day. Too crowded on the weekends and he gets over stimulated. He has improved and actually lets people at the park pet him. Not so much at home with our guests. Which is too bad because they all think he is so cute. His walks are still too much him leading me, but I am just glad he walks most of the time instead of running. We have had to replace two gentle leaders...one cause we were not so gentle and the other because he actually chewed it off when resting. Guess I should have taken it off sooner. He has improved with the barking when guests are here and does not follow them so much. Not because his training is better but we believe it is because of a phermone collar we bought from our vet. Seems to calm him. He has had it for 30 days which is about when it wears out. We are going to try him without it and see what happens. He does well with children if they don't chase him. We had a little one with us for 6 weeks. They became the best of pals. Treats I think were involved and a few droppings around the table. We had to work hard for this not to become a begging situation but it seems ok. Still can't find anything he likes to chew that lasts for any length of time and he has destroyed two shoes. BAD BOY. He is not very cuddly but never complains about being touched. Does really well at the groomer. Still has a problem with his anal glands so he gets a little help every 30 days. We changed food but it didn't seem to make much difference. Guess it is just going to be his thing. I am attaching a recent picture. I have the cutest little video of him with a toddler and will send if your email can handle to file size. Take care and keep in touch. Priscilla and Taylor.

Lulu's pup - Buttercup
Lulu's pup - Buttercup

Daisy (AKA Buttercup) is a wonderful little beagle girl. We are having so much fun with her. At her last vet visit in December, she was 14 pounds, and growing. She is making some progress with her house training, but we still have lots of lapses from time to time. Daisy really has a great personality, that we just love to watch in her. She uses her paws often, and loves to sleep on her back with her paws straight up in the air. It's very cute. Within the first few day's, she took right to her crate, and started to sleep through the night. We were definitely happy about that. We have not been very successful taking her for walks yet, as she gets a few houses down, and bolts back to our front door. There have not been any instances that happened to her, and no other animals so we are not sure why she stops. We have even taken her different routes, and she still only makes it a very short distance. We will keep trying until she gets used to it. Daisy has had a few puppy play dates, and there were very amusing. She loves to try and get her friends to chase her, by bumping her back side into them. Below you will see a picture of one of her other playmates Molly a cocker spanial. Dinner time is still a challenge for us, as Daisy is still a big beger. We are working on this with her, as she is learning different commands such as down, sit, and stay. We have a six and seven year old boy's, and like us, they love having her around. Thank you to everyone at TBBR for such a wonderful addition to our family. We look forward to having her around for a many years to come. She loves having her picture taken, so I hope you enjoy. Lucky is doing wonderful, going for a checkup tomorrow and starts obedient classes next Monday night. He's a wonderful dog that seems to be as happy as we are with him and from the pictures you can see that he has made himself very comfortable as if he lived with us all his life. I'll always keep in touch and look forward to taken Lucky to one of your meetups, so he can play with other Beagles. Keep up the wonderful work. Monica ,Kevin and Lucky
