Teedoe Here is an updated picture of TeeDoe, adopted August 29, 2006. 2-26-07 We adopted TeeDoe on August 29, 2006 and we are so glad that we did. He is everything that we wanted in a beagle. He plays with our cat and tries to antagonize the cat to chase him around. He loves going for long walks, chasing the little lizards, otters, birds and other dogs that may cross our path. When the weather gets warmer we would like to take him to the area dog parks and also to a dog friendly beach to see what he does with the water. We can’t thank you enough for all the nice and friendly volunteers that helped us with the adoption process. Thank You, Stacee, Greg, Angel and TeeDoe Dickensheets.
Polly Well, after almost 1 year actually, Neil and I adopted 2 Beagle rescue dogs. Polly (on the left) is a 3 year old female and Dutch (originally Butch, on the right) is a 6 month old male. He looks like he might have some Foxhound in him. So far, so good. A few accidents in the house but we're all getting the hang of when it's time to go out. We've been to the dog park several times and had our first obedience lesson already. Polly is typical Beagle, nose to the ground and she has selective hearing but she is so sweet. Dutch is a puppy so there's lots of chewing. He's very handsome and curious. I know that they will be a perfect addition to the family. Still trying to get them used to having a cat around. Not an easy task. We did have all three of them on the couch for a while on Saturday night. Missy was very brave, what with all the sniffing that went on.
Stewart Just a quick update on Stewart. He rode home on Alex's lap and he doesn't seem to want to be anywhere except where Alex is! It seems like such a fast bond but I am not arguing. Alex decided to play Playstation and Stewart got in his lap and went to sleep. I decided we needed to go to PetSmart and pick up food, toys, treats etc. but Alex wouldn't go unless Stewart went. He is such a wonderful dog and I want to thank-you for allowing us the opportunity to bring him into our lives! Thank-you, Dan
Cher Cher seems to be adjusting just fine. She still walks around like she is looking for you. I think she misses you. Here is a picture of Cher and Amber. I will send you pictures of her as she gets more used to her surroundings. It is hard to get a picture of her just standing, because when you stoop down to take her picture she comes to you. LOL. Anyway, you seem to have done a great job with her. Dennis and Amber Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
