Casey
Casey

We've hade Casey now 4 months,he is an absolute dream. He had his period of re-housbreaking time, he has that all figured out now. He was a little timid and submissive, now he is happy, self-confident, he loves to play hard, but then he crashes and just wants to cuddle on the sofa with us.We absolutely adore him (I think he adores us too)? I can tell he understands that this is his "forever" home now. I had a big hole in my heart when my elderly beagle Duke passed on, little Casey has filled that hole with his love. I am grateful for everyone in your org. that helped us get him. Sincerely, Delores Lewis

Cookie
Cookie

Hi, Just wanted to send you a follow up and thank you for all the wonderful work you do. My wife and I adopted Cookie from Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue and she has become a wonderful, loving dog despite her few little quirks. We just wanted to send you a note to let you know she is still doing good and has come a long way, she no longer snaps at anyone and she isn't shy around strangers anymore. She seems to be very well adjusted to her new family. Thanks again! Sincerely, John, Brandi, Skip, & Cookie

Sandy
Sandy

Sandy has hit her 3 month milestone with us but it seems like we've had her forever. She is a wonderful dog and has such a funny and loving personality. Sandy just completed her Manners Plus class at Best Paws Forward and has really blossomed. She loves to go through the tunnel and over the teeter totter as long as there's food on the other side. She also flew on United Airlines to Boise, Idaho with us for l0 days at our cabin. We held our breath as she climbed into her crate and into the hands of the security personnel but she was a real trooper and ready to go once we made it to Boise. She was willing to put her front feet in the cold creek below the cabin but that was it. She's obviously a land lubber. The highlight of the mountain adventure for her were the two white Westies at the adjourning cabin and a Jack Russell down the road. The elk and deer were secondary. She was very glad to see her home in Orlando again and gave us lots of kisses when we opened her favorite treat jar. We really are crazy about this dog and grateful to all the Tampa Bay rescue people who made it possible for us to adopt her. We can't remember when we didn't have her running around the house squeeking her toys. Janet Gerking **2nd Update** Sandy is doing great. She is very talkative now and not nearly as quiet as when we got her. She likes to let loose with a good beagle howl when she wants something. She has a little friend because our son and his fiance just got a Lhaso Apso puppy and they play together. The puppy takes Sandy's toys out of her basket one by one and Sandy gently pulls them out of the puppy's mouth and makes a hidden pile in the dining room. We think Sandy is a real gem and my husband absolutely loves her. Janet Gerking **2nd Update** Sandy is doing great. She is very talkative now and not nearly as quiet as when we got her. Penny
Penny

We adopted Penny in January and have had her for over 3 months now. She is such a wonderful addition to our family. She is the sweetest, most loving beagle I have ever known. Everyday we question how anyone could have given her up. I recently had surgery and Penny has spent the past month recuperating with me. She follows me everywhere. She loves to sit out on the patio, run in the back yard and take walks. She runs and plays with our son in the yard. We lost our beagle of 13 years (Tillie) last October. Penny has definitely filled the void. She has adopted Tillie's beds and dishes as her own. In honor of Tillie we have Penny to carry on as the Marshall family beagle. Thank you all at TBBR so much for what you do for all of these dogs and for allowing us to adopt Penny. I will always rescue a dog and tell everyone I know to do the same as opposed to buying a puppy. Thanks again. Attached are a couple of recent pictures. Barbara, Brad, and Tyler Marshall in Orlando

Andy
Andy

Hi, this email is from Dennis, Virginia's son. Andy is doing GREAT! He is such a sweet and lovable dog and mom and Andy have totally bonded. He really likes people a lot and when ever I go over to visit I become his best pal! He has gained a little weight (maybe too much) but mom says he looks just fine. They are both up in Ct for the summer enjoying the dry cool non-humid weather taking long walks aroung the lake. Will send photos once I get a chance to take some! thanks for checking in, dennis
