Toby

My boyfriend and I were just looking at your Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue website contemplating whether or not we should get a brother or sister for our little Toby when we saw your "Success Stories" page! We were wondering if we could add to it as our beagle, Toby was adopted by my boyfriend from the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue in 2004. Josh saw the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue at a home show and fell in love with a little beagle puppy named Toby. The next day he decided to adopt Toby and give him a happy home! In fact, it was because of little Toby that Josh and I met! Even though it took a while for Toby to warm up to me, he is now our baby and I can't get enough of him! Toby enjoys sleeping, playing, eating, and he especially enjoys his belly rubs! One of Toby's new favorite treats is cheese, his big floppy ears perk up anytime it's even mentioned. Toby also has a taste for the finer things in life, and will only lay on something soft, like a blanket we've dubbed "Toby's Blanket", he curls up into a little beagle ball on it and takes a relaxing nap! We love our Toby and if it wasn't for the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue, we would've never met our playful, loving beagle! Thank you so much for what you do! Kindest Regards, Josh and Jen

Twiggy

HI, This is Barbara writing. Thank you for following up on Maggie (formally Twiggy). I really appreciate all you people do. She is an awesome dog. Eats like a pig, but doesn't put on any weight. My husband said she is so skinny her food must go straight through. haha She sleeps in bed with us, and gets along famously with my other beagle, Elle. We walk every day, and she interacts well with the other neighborhood dogs. She plays and sleeps all day long with Elle. They are best buds. We are all one big family now. She completes us. Titus

Titus is doing great. He's being a real good boy. Madison really loves him and was so surprised and excited when she got him. She says he's a great dog. One of his favorite things is riding to school in the morning with the kids in our van. He gets so excited when we get ready to leave. He loves going walking and chasing our cat up into the tree. It's hilarious. We took him to Madison's grandma and grandpa's house and he got to meet their chocolate lab Guinness. They got along great. I've attached a few pictures. One is of Madison and Titus walking, the other is Madison, my niece, Leili, and Titus, and the last one is Madison and our neighbor, Kiersten, playing with Titus in our back yard. He's been a perfect pet and has taken real well to us. He doesn't like being in his crate in the daytime, but when it's time for bed he goes right in by himself. Tipper

Tipper is adjusting just fine. She is everything we could have hoped for- and more:) We are still getting to know her personality but she is the sweetest girl. Thanks again for fostering her, I know how difficult it must have been letting her go. Rest assured she is in a good and loving home. As a matter of fact she probably wishes my kids would give her a break from lovin' on her constantly. When she is tired of them she goes and finds a quite space somewhere in the house. She and the resident cat are getting along fine as well. Still unsure about each other, as can be expected, but getting closer every day. They actually napped in the same room the other day- cute. We will keep everyone up to date on our skinny girls progress. Best wishes Bruce and Jill
