Bubbles is our famous cleft palate puppy! As seen on her Facebook page, "Bubbles The Beagle Mix". Born on July 7th, 2015 with two healthy brothers and two healthy sisters, Bubbles struggled to grow. She required around the clock tube feedings and then a surgical procedure to insert an E-Tube to make feedings easier. At 3 months of age Bubbles had her first cleft palate repair. Since that procedure she has gained 7 pounds!  She's tipping the scales at 10.2 pounds.

This fluffy ball of energy is a puppy in every sense! She is so eager to learn if given the chance. She has been doing well with house training and learning a few tricks (Sit, high five, dance, and down) but her puppy attention span is short. Puppy classes would do wonders for this smarty pants.
 
Bubbles loves everyone and is a very excitable pup! She would make anyone a great companion. She loves her foster kids, and gets along with the cat. She is a bit timid/submissive with the older beagles in the house. Since she does gets so excited, her foster beagle siblings don't tolerate her easily. (But then again, they are in retirement +10 years old, can't blame them) At no fault of her own, Bubbles did not receive the correct litter socialization skills because she was so fragile and needed special care to survive from day one. So because of that, you could say she was a bit "sheltered" and sometimes she doesn't recognize another dog's body language. She is slowly learning the ropes and gets along with other dogs regardless.

I promise you she is part beagle! She is very food motivated. Which is also why learning tricks comes easily to her. She has a very strange bark. It's a bit higher pitch and more of a yelp. But she rarely uses it. She's not a couch potato. She's not a cat chaser. She's not a garbage thief. She's not on yard patrol. Bubbles' hobbies are: Car rides, karaoke with foster mom, people watching, shredding paper, kisses, dressing up and fetch.
