What a cute, adorable little guy! Such unique coloring on this beagle boy. While not a true "puppy", he still exhibits lots of puppy behaviors - lots of licking/loving, exploring everything, mouthing things (have caught him with my shoes), doesn't want to nap when the other dogs in the house do....hehee. Very playful with toys and the other dogs, he is fearless. Will explore on his own, but also keeps coming back to me for loving. Josh understands some basic commands: sit, no, down...but will benefit from consistency and training. Only made some potty mistakes the first couple days, mostly marking - but that'll stop once neutered. He currently has a fenced yard with easy access. Josh is a true beagle in that he is "scent" orientated - see video...they were after a squirrel up in the tree. Oh, and a definite lizard chaser. At dinner time he's a happy boy and will try to eat others' food - goes right up and puts his head next to theirs in the bowl. So, he's being currenlty fed in a crate to keep him polite. No aggressive moves on his part at all....just wants their food. Josh has been crated while I take short trips, but not yet overnight - he barked. Loves his people/dogs and wanted to be with them. When I leave the house (took other two to the park)....he was fine - barked when I returned but seemed to have done ok. Settles in at night uncrated easily, ended up at the foot of my bed with my other foster Chase, (see picture - lighter coloring) but also spent time on a doggie bed next to the bed, and even under the bed.
