Spot came to us in pretty rough shape, with hair loss and irritated skin on much of his body.  But after a couple months of good food and medicated baths, he is back to looking like his normal self.  Throughout his recovery, he has maintained an impossibly happy and bouncy attitude.

Spot also came with a limp on his front, right leg. He has seen a local specialist about this and it was determined to be caused by a break when he was younger.  Dr. Hay has indicated that surgery to repair the leg is not an option so Spot will live with the limp.  Spot gets along nicely and behaves as any other young dog, playing with toy and his foster brothers and sisters and hops up on the couch for affection just like anyone else.

Because of his injury, it is important for an adopting family to understand Spot must maintain a good, slim physique so as not to put unnecessary additional strain on his leg and he will not make a good long distance walking partner or running companion.  But normal levelsof activity are perfectly ok.

Spot gets along so well with his foster canine and human siblings and is extrmely happy to meet everyone!  He is a true charmer looking for love.

Although Spot is listed as 4 years old he behaves a tad younger and has that typical, curious beagle personality that can be so endearing (and maybe make a little bit of trouble).

Won't you adopt this sweet, happy boy?
