Hi my name is Josie,

I’m learning with patience and kindness that humans can actually be a source of love and compassion. I’ve discovered that they can be actually a fun companion and warm body to snuggle up against. I’ve learned that a crate is not a punishing place but a warm safe place with comforting blankets for me to rest and get food and treats. My foster mommy just loves me and is amazed at how smart I am – at least that’s what she tells me. I am housebroken and know how to let my people know when I need to go out. I know how to sit, stay, come and lay down. I’m learning how to heel and walk nicely on a leash, but you’ll have to be a little patient with me as I’m learning. I have a lot of energy and love to play with my toys, so being left alone in a crate all day would not be ideal for me. If you are looking for a running buddy or someone to keep you company on those bike rides, then I’ll be your best pal. With a little training and patience, my mommy is convinced I would be a star performer on an agility course or a fly ball team – but hey it can’t hurt to dream. I would just love to find a home of my own with someone who has a little patience and love. No small children or small dogs please, as they make me uneasy, but I love to play with bigger dogs. Would you be the one to give me my home and make my journey complete?
