Tia was found abandoned with one of her babies. Her puppy was in great shape but poor Tia was very emaciated. She has already gained some weight is so grateful to be taken care of. Tia is a dream! She is a terrific mother, but is doing well with being separated from her weaned pup. She seems to be housetrained as she has not had an accident since being here. She is crate trained and will go in willingly when asked to "Get in your house"
She is a bit timid and it appears she has been mistreated because she cowers at loud noises and quick movements.
She has been someones pet, just not treated very well. Even after all she's been through she is very loving and loves to be petted and craves attention. (The GOOD kind)

UPDATE 08/12/08; Tia has been spayed and has gained some weight and looking GOOD! She has learned to trust us and is not so timid. She will make some lucky family a perfect pet.
