Bodie is a very sweet, loving, wants-to-be-as-close-to-you-as-possible kind of boy (he loves to snuggle on the couch with his "human").  He is listed at around 6 years old, but we think he may be younger.   He's all Beagle, though, because he loves to chase squirrels, eat bugs and sniff around in the back yard.  He can go on a sniff-a-thon forever, it seems!  When he's in sniff mode, he sometimes does not hear being called to come in.

Bodie is crate trained and it is recommended he be crated when no one is home as he is still learning about the joy of being housebroken.  He is doing very well in that regard but will be less likely to relapse if not crated when no one is home.  He's good with other dogs and with cats. 

His foster has worked with him to some degree with training issues, but he will need his new forever home to continue reinforcing him.  He is prone to bolt out doors when they are opened, if only briefly, so a good "recall" as well as some way to prevent him accidentally getting loose, is recommended (especially in a home where children are opening and closing external doors and gates a lot).  He is learning his name and learning to come when called, but needs more reinforcement in this area, as well.

Bodie is a total love and a Beagle boy through and through!  He would probably like a Beagle brother or sister in his forever home, so he has someone to play with.
