Rambo is stunning!  His size, coloring, and features are very unique and striking for a hound mix.  He has those pleading brown eyes and big ears we all love.

Bigger than a typical beagle, we believe he has some harrier or fox hound in him.  We aren't sure if he was ever allowed in a home because in his first foster home, he stood there at the open door, unsure of what to do next.  He tentatively crossed the threshold and wasn't sure what was next.  But he figured it out in a hurry!  Quiet and appreciative of affection and a soft place to lay, Rambo is soaking up his new life.

Rambo had a limp that was diagnosed as two seized muscles in his rotator cuff.  Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue took care of his surgery and he is now on the road to recovery.  Boy was he happy to get off of crate rest and start playing with toys again!  Rambo is currently fostered in a home with other dogs and gets along extremely well with them.  We think he will do well in just about any situation and would love to introduce you.

UPDATE:  Rambo's surgery improved his mobility some but he still has a limp, which is not expected to go away completely. He does NOT let that slow him down one bit though.  You should see him race around the dog park.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
