Precious is a beautiful and so sweet black lab mix who found herself out of time at the local shelter after her family surrendered her.  They lost their jobs, then their home and could no longer care for Precious.  One of our volunteers found great compassion for her and her situation and pulled Precious so that her life would be spared-and just in the nick of time.

Precious is super with people and kids!!  Can't get enough attention from the humans in her foster home.  She is fostered with 3 other dogs and is doing great.  She has had so many changes in so little of a timeframe, I believe she is overwhelmed but so appreciative of her life now.

She is believed to be about 5 years old.  She is housetrained and crate trained.  She is very quiet in the house.  I would say she is decent on the leash, especially once she gets moving and gets her initial energy out.  I also believe she would make a good running partner.  We have an unreliable fence and she hasn't even approached it so I don't think she would attempt to jump it.
