Aria was picked up as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter with little chance of making it out because she was found to be heartworm positive. TBBR to the rescue!

She won the hearts of her fosters the instant they saw her.  She is an itty bitty little lady, at only 14lbs.  We think she is just about a year old so she may have a little growing to do, but not much.  She is a classic example of a 13" beagle.

Inside her foster home, she has been well behaved, being quiet in her crate and playing nicely with her puppy family members.  She will come to people for attention or protection if the playing gets a little rough but usually she just jumps right in and joins the fun.  Her favorite spot for a nap is the pet bed behind the couch.

At only a year young, Aria is still a puppy.  She has energy to burn and will need to learn good habits and manners.  But she is happy and ready to learn.  Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue will take care of her heartworm treatment promptly and will also get her spayed and then she is ready to go.  Adoptions can be processed while these services are pending so don't wait to put in an application - she won't be around for long!
