Connor was found in Lake County, FL by a good samaritan late at night, hobbling across a country road in the rain. He took him home for the night, then took him to his vet in the morning, but there was no microchip. Connor had a broken left rear leg, so the vet suggested Connor go to the local shelter so they could find a rescue to take him. That's where TBBR stepped in!

Dr. Thomas at Veterinary Surgical Center in Tampa put a metal pin and plate in Connor's leg. He is happily recuperating at a foster's house; mostly confined to a crate while his leg heals. Connor gets along great with the foster's children and three beagles. He is almost housetrained; has only had a couple accidents.

5/15/13 update: Connor had his 2 week checkup with Dr. Thomas and had his stitches removed. He leg is healing nicely; his next appointment is 6/26/13.

Connor was a little shy when he first came to us, but has totally come out of his shell and is in happy puppy mode! He wants to run and play, but has to wait until his leg is 100% healed.

And he is so affectionate! Don't consider Connor unless you're okay with him crawling into your lap on the sofa and falling asleep like a tired little toddler! But who wouldn't love that? He also likes to sleep on the same doggie bed with our 7 year old female beagle, Peanut, so he would probably enjoy having another dog around.
