Rex is a purebred beagle.  He has all the characteristics we love about the breed - curiosity, sweetness, passion.  He does love his food too!  But he is learning good manners like how to sit nicely for his meal and also to not bother his humans while they are eating.

Rex was treated for heartworms and has fully recovered.  He also lost the necessary weight and is once again fit and trim.

Rex needs some practice on his leash manners but otherwise has been very well behaved.   We think Rex will do ok as an only dog but certainly knows how to be part of a pack.  He even gets along with the resident kitties, as you can see in the picture.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
