This sweet scared beagle girl was found sitting on the side of a busy highway in the dark early dawn hours by a man doing his newspaper delivery. When he came back by a while later she was still sitting there quite confused as if she was waiting for her people to come back. We can't be sure if she was dumped there or got lost and ended up there but one things is clear - this adorable girl did not belong on the side of the highway. Fortunately this good samaritan picked her up and exhausted all efforts to find her owners to no avail. She is very sweet and a real cutie!! More information to come as we get to know her better.
It took no time for us to figure out that we are lucky to have her. She is so sweet and gentle that we are thrilled to have her. She is still a little shy but we can see that it won't take long for her to come out of her shell. More as we go along but there is not doubt in our mind that this little angel will bring a lot of happiness to her new family. Update (April 23). Sugar got a 5 star report from the staff at St Pete Vet Clinic. In 24 hours, she got spayed, got her teeth cleaned and got her 2 shots to treat her heart worm. This little girl is a rare gem.
