Monkey had an owner that never came looking for him while he sat in isolation at the shelter with an injured rear leg.  

He was presumed to have been hit by a car and was extensively xrayed.  Fortunately the only injuries were two broken bones in the foot that healed with just a splint and a few cuts on the other leg that were stapled closed.  His splint was not applied properly at the shelter so he suffered a terrible infection of his foot.  Well, TTBR to the rescue and all of that is in the past!  You would never know there was ever an issue.

He is such an adorable little Monkey!  Very loving and affectionate and very quiet.  He loves to snuggle and get attention and lay in your lap or next to you on the couch.  

Monkey Does not bark like a beagle but instead has a little squeaky type noise he makes like a little tiny dog ~ so funny!  He doesn't use it very often though and only vocalizes to celebrate the return of his people or when he is playing with his foster brothers and sisters. 

He crates well, gets along with other dogs and loves kids.  He would LOVE a new family to take him home and make him a part of the family, just in time for the holidays.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
