Mater and his sister Mia were in a terrible situation when their original owner's health caused them to be turned into animal control.They were turned in with their paperwork as registered beagles. The animal control could not hold them so they called TBBR and we pulled a few strings to rescue them.

Mater is the cutest beagle boy. He looks like a teddy bear. He is beautiful inside and out.

The day he was rescued out of animal control, Mater was brought to the Tampa Bay Fairgrounds to meet up with a foster. At the Fairgrounds he charmed many by being so mellow and sweet. Mater would lie down in the aisle rolling on his back so people would rub his tummy.

Mater will have many who fall in love with him. It will be a lucky person who takes Mater into their heart and brings him to his forever home. 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
