I saw Belle at the Slidell, LA animal Control Shelter where she had just finished nursing her 2 puppies. They were on adoption row and Belle, because she had heartworms and was considered unadoptable, was on death row. I brought her back to Tampa with me and she is has been a loving and sweet girl the entire time. She gets along well with people, dogs and cats and loves to curl up in your lap and drift off to sleep. Slidell Belle will need to be spayed and have her heartworm treatment before an adoption could be finalized.
