Update 4/2: Copper is an amazing little guy with a lot of love to share! He adores kids and is very active. He loves to play outside and hasn't met a creature he hasn't liked yet (he is espcially fond on "playing" with lizards)! He gets along great with toddlers who like to pull on his soft little ears and roll around on the floor. He fits in perfectly to any pack and does not need to be the alpha male. Although one of his favorite pastimes is de-stuffing dog toys, he does know the difference between what is his and what isn't! At night, Copper is happy curling up on his favorite chair or snuggling up with his toys in the crate. He is fully housebroken and can be trusted while you are away from the house. If you are looking for a young little guy with lots of energy to share and love to give, Copper would be a great fit! He is especially good with young children! Cindi and Copper VIII were turned into animal control by their owner who decided he didn't want them anymore. Both are very sweet and loving. Both are suffering from flea dermatitis and related hair loss. If they are kept flea-free this will heal up and they will no longer have to live a miserable itchy life. Unfortunately both Cindi and Copper have heartworms but TBBR will have them treated. At the shelter Copper quickly received an adoption application because he is an adorable little beagle mix who weighs only 21 lbs. But they declined him when they found out he was heartworm positive. He will be treated and will have a long happy life - all he needs is a family to come and take him home!
