Is this little munchin adorable or what? He is too cute for words! He's gets along with other dogs and is very friendly. Rico has heartworms and he is in his 2nd week of treatment. He has weathered it very well. He has been in our home for almost 5 weeks. He is a skinny little guy that needs to put on some weight. He was neutered and left quite an impression at the vet's office. They called him "super boy" as he flew out of the kennels he was put in. His nickname is monkey butt due to his strong back leg muscles. He is indeed a climber and no fence or gate will keep him confined. He is getting much more comfortable with his new environment. He remains cautious and a little jumpy with the unknown. His separation anxiety is also getting better. He does settle down after a while and has not had accidents. With a lot of TLC Rico will do great. He does need a home in which his new parents will be home most of the time. Rico is a gem and today he is a very different little dog than the dog we got a month ago. This super boy really deserves the very best family. He loves his walks and he loves to cuddle.
