Snoopy is about as mellow as a Beagle can get. He's a bit shy right now. You would be too, if your world was turn upside down!! (He is an owner surrender) His foster mom says he has really warmed up to her and has already made friends with his Beagle foster brother and sister. Like all Beagles, he loves his belly and back scratches. He's a little snuggle bunny! He is VERY well mannered and listens to commands. Snoopy is also crate trained. He loves car rides and is GREAT on a leash. This handsome mellow fellow just needs some love, attention and a nice warm place to lay his head...and he would be the happiest boy in town. We think he would thrive in a house with another dog around his age.

UPDATE: A note from Snoopy's foster mom 12/03/06 - Snoopy is a DREAM BEAGLE. He is a gentle boy who just wants LOVE. You can tell he didn't receive much attention in his previous home. He's not much for the rough Beagle play, but will gladly join in a running game around the backyard with the other Beags in the house. I would prefer he go into a home with another dog. This would prevent him from being bored and lonely as he was in his previous home. He sure has come out of his shell with the help of the other K9 kids. He is WONDERFUL with children!!! AND...he loves his walks!!!
