Monroe is a true gem!  This friendly and affectionate boy would fit into any household.  He is great with kids and other dogs, and he is very well mannered in the house.  He is fully housetrained and sleeps quietly in his crate at night.  He does not bark at all - in fact he tries to howl and nothing really comes out!  He is content to be by your side and will often lie down at your feet just to be close.  He loves to go for walks and does fairly well on the leash. He does tend to look for ways to escape (he is a beagle after all) so he would probably do best in a house with a well-fenced yard.  He is also heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment, thanks to TBBR.  Won't you come meet this handsome guy?
