A couple months ago poor Boysie's mom was walking home from the supermarket and was struck by a car and killed. He and a number of rescued dogs and kittens were left as orphans and were living alone in the house until a friend stepped in to help re-home them. Boisey has been taken to the vet, received a complete physical, his shots were brought up to date and he was micro-chipped - and received the good health stamp of approval. We guesstimate him to be about 8 years old, and we think he is a beagle-basset mix, as he has the bark and the bowlegs of a bassett hound - all the rest is beagle! He is well behaved in the home, totally housebroken, loves being with people, other dogs and even likes living with cats. He is what we call a perfect companion. No training required. Boysie's mom loved him so much and she was tragically taken from him. He is hoping to find a loving home where he can live out his next 8 years!
