Pookie is a sweet beagle girl who loves people. She was found as a stray, but has a spay scar so she was someone's pet. Unfortunately she is heartworm positive which is a death sentence at the animal control that found her, so TBBR stepped in to take care of her. She started her heartworm treatment the evening she was brought into her foster's home. 

She is a very calm, gentle girl and is very lovable. Pookie gets along with the other dogs, but doesn't like to play too much although she may just need a little more time to show her playful side. She does know how to sit nicely when asked to do so. She prefers mostly to just hang out. In fact, she says she would like to hang out with you. Why don't you come out and fall in love with her. She will gladly pick you as her new BFF (best friend forever).

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
