This poor precious senior baby was left in the night drop box at a high kill shelter in Central Florida.  It was clear he had been neglected badly for a very long time.  He smelled so bad we had to ride with the windows open and holding our noses all the way home.  He had a layer of green slime over both eyes and a little cloud of tiny nats hovered around him.  He was so wonderful for his first bath in probably many years and his ears were cleaned and nails clipped.  His eyes were wiped clean and antibiotic drops applied to clear the infection in both eyes.  Within days he had a dental cleaning because his teeth were beyond horrible!!  Likely the worst this seasoned rescuer has seen maybe ever!  He had many many teeth pulled and boy was he happy about that!  Now the bad smell was gone and his mouth no longer hurt.  He is just a compact little guy and as sweet and loving as they come.  He is loving life in his new foster home and enjoys lounging on the patio with the resident cat.  He will be neutered and treated for heartworms and we hope will have many happy healthy years ahead of him.  He would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a low key, laid back and loving friend. 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
