Silas was rescued from Highlands County animal control with his buddy Alfie where they sat for a month waiting on his family to find him. 

Silas is a wonderful little boy with lots of energy and lots of love!  He loves a good romp in the yard, but is just as content curled up in your lap or against another dog for a nap!  He loves other dogs, no matter size!  He loves them even more when they will share toys with him, especially for a good game of tug o' war.  Silas even gets along with the resident kitties.  He has learned to use the doggie door to and from the lanai and will bark when he is ready to come in from the yard.  He has learned "sit" but has not mastered it as there is always something more interesting going on than sitting!  He is good in his crate and has a big Beagley appetite!

Silas is one handsome, lovable boy - he will even let you hold him like a baby :)  He is looking for a home to call his own...won't you consider making him part of the family.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
