Note from Jodi’s Foster Mom: Jodi has really opened up since she’s been with us. She meets us excitedly at the top of the stairs whenever we come home and tries to “talk” to us about what might have happened while we were gone in little squeaks and whines. We’ve nicknamed her “Jodi-Bone” because her favorite game seems to be distracting her Foster Brother until he leaves his bone somewhere so she can steal it for herself! She’s housetrained and walks nicely on the leash. We’ve learned that her signal to go outside is to come up and “pat” us with her paw…almost like a tapping on the shoulder to say, “Hey! I gotta go!” She’s very friendly with my beagles and with any other dogs we meet on our walks. She has a deep, pretty beagle singing voice when she sees something outside the windows and loves to snuggle and give kisses when she gets her ears rubbed. She’s a special little girl who is going to make someone a wonderful friend! 1/1/2011 note - We found out last night (New Year's Eve) that Jodi is terrified of fireworks! She spent the evening trembling and trying to hide between her Foster Mom and the couch. No experience yet with a loud thunderstorm, but if fireworks are an indication, she'll want to snuggle up during a storm too.
