Update 10/21/10:  as previously reported Serena is a great little beagle girl who just wants a family to call her own.  That being said she is all beagle and her nose will get her into trouble.  She can track a scent and will bark and try to follow it as best she can.  She is a jumper and can scale a baby gate without much effort so a tall fenced in backyard is probably best for her.  She will need to be leashed in any unfenced area and we continue to work on leash walking and basic obedience and a crate is also recommended until she is a little older.  She loves her crate and will go into it as soon as the cookie closet door opens !

She loves to play with any kind of toys and gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home but does tend to bark ay the ducks and cats who roam the neighborhood.

Serena is a very sweet girl who loves and craves attention and affection.  She crates very well, and is housebroken.  She loves to run and play and even comes when you call her!!  How very un-beagle like!!  She has really had no basic obedience training so we are working on sit and stay.  She is very smart and eager to please so she is catching on fast.  She is pretty quiet and just a real love bug!  She is a typical busy bee, young, happy-go-lucky beagle girl.  She is good with kids and other dogs and LOVES cats too! 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
