Fancy Girl is a young 1-2 year old beagle found in Jackson County with a broken leg and a huge gash on her right rear leg and brought to the shelter. She was transferred to us on 8-10. Fancy had emergency surgery to repair her shattered leg and wound treatment. She has been in a foster home in the Panhandle and recuperating since. Fancy is a bright, energetic and affectionate beagle. She loves to play with her foster sister, a senior beagle. She loves people and other dogs but can get overexcited and bay loudly when introduced. She loves to play wth toys but is not destructive with them. She loves to cuddle and sleep next to her foster Mom. She has been trained to use a doggy door and her housetraining is pretty good if given the opportunity to go out on a regular basis. Fancy, like all young beagles, has a tendency to get into things and chew on them so she should be crated when unsupervised. She is anxious to please and responds to some obedience commends and comes quickly when called.
