Daniel Boone really only knows Boone for a name, but since we have had a few Boones in the rescue, we added a name for him.

Boone is a sweet 1-year-old Lemon Beagle pup. He is a good boy and loves to play, get attention, chase lizards in the yard, and give kisses. He wants to be your very best friend.

 Boone is good with other dogs. He got along well with the other hound in his foster home, though his energy was sometimes a bit much for her since she is 13.

He still has some puppy energy and needs someone who can play with him and give him the exercise and attention that he needs to be happy.

He is mostly potty trained, although he may have an accident if nervous. He also knows a few commands like sit and down. Boone likes going for walks and has the spirit of adventure that you’d expect from a young Beagle.

Boone quirks: likes to play with sticks in the yard, likes to lay on the top of sofa cushions, and gets rambunctious when hungry.
