Patches is a really sweet 3 year old girl.  Not used to being treated as a loved pet and family member, everything is new to her. Just getting her to come inside her foster family’s house was a challenge at first because she was so scared.  Her foster family has had her a little over a week and already they are seeing much improvement in her comfort level.  The first time she wagged her tail (day 3) because she was happy to see them, was so exciting! She’s slowly learning to trust and get used to the comforts and perks that come with being an inside dog.  Now, she loves curling up and sleeping on the bed during the day instead of hiding under it.

She is friendly and lovable but is still skittish and spooked by sudden noises and movements. She is good with kids and most other dogs.  She doesn’t mind being outside in fenced yard.  She does not try to escape although she could easily jump over the fence.  She walks well on a leash. She sleeps in the crate at night. 

She is a sweet girl that just needs love, gentleness and consistency to bring her out of her shell to see the wonderful dog she can be!

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
