Mickey is very well socialized. He wants to meet and be friends with every person and dog he crosses paths with. He loves to cuddle and be with his foster family. He has the expected energy of a 3 year old but also loves his naps. He’s a very good walker when using a harness. He tends to pull with collar only. He’s curious about everything like it’s his first time seeing the world.  Mickey’s foster family works on training with simple commands like “sit”, “leave it’, “down”, “no”.  He is surprisingly quiet for a hound mix and chooses to be vocal only when he is left home alone because he would rather be with his family.  Mickey is house and crate trained. He can be a bit stubborn going into his crate but after a two minute whine he’s fine.  He loves car rides and does very well with baths and nail trimmings.  Mickey is ready for bed by 8:30pm and sleeps in his crate until 7:00am. He would do well with a family that can be consistent with routine

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
