Max is a very sweet, medium-energy boy. He mostly likes to nap on the couch, and be near his person and his sister. Max would do best being adopted with his sister Rosie if possible, but at minimum needs a more confident dog in the home to be near. He gets along with the foster mom's Beagle-Fox Hound mix.   He crates well. His foster mom bathed and cut his nails without issue.

He needs a secure fence or to be harness walked only, and careful/quick closing of outside doors. (He is a bit of an escape artist.) He seems interested in cats - barks/whines at them, so further testing is needed if applicant has them

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
