Copper Todd is a sweet and social beagle mix boy. He's a very pretty redhead with amber eyes and a brown / liver colored nose. Thus the name Copper!! At around 2 years old, he still acts like a typical puppy. He has lots of energy and likes to explore his surroundings and gets into everything. If you have ever owned a beagle pup you know this behavior goes on for a few more months and then he will become "the perfect dog" (for a Beagle that is!!!)
He is great with kids and other dogs. He loves to snuggle up and take naps next to his foster family. He is very social and likes to be in the same room w/ his foster family or foster brother dog. He can be a bit of a barker. Also, working on potty training and he is doing much better. He does need a fenced backyard or to be on a leash at all times outside since he is a runner (Reminder.....True for ALL Beagles!!) Copper is crate trained and eats and sleeps well in his crate. He loves food and walks well on a leash.
This happy go lucky guy is ready to go to his fur-ever home! He just needs a little discipline and training and a little time and he will be a fantastic and loyal best friend. Did I mention that he is HW-, neutered and plain ole' awesome?
