Melvin is a young, energetic pup who is super affectionate. He loves to play outside but will also snuggle down for a good nap. He is curious and busy, but also laid back for a young pup. He loves his meals and a good bone to chew on. You won’t be able to resist his velvet ears and the cutest snout that looks like he dipped his face in a cup of milk!

Melvin weighs about 20 pounds but could stand to gain a few pounds in his new home.

Despite being full grown, Melvin is still very much a puppy and will need consistent training.   Potty training is going well in his foster home, and he knows how to use a doggy door.   He is learning basic manners and what is, and isn’t, a toy.   He is not super fond of being in a crate by himself and would do great in a home with another pup to be friends with.

Melvin will do best in a home with a fenced in yard, and an active family that enjoys going for long walks and visits to the dog park.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
