Flicka came to us because her owner could no longer care for her and the person with the power of attorney took her to animal control. 

She is used to being someone’s queen bee. She loves people. 

She was 50 pounds when we picked her up and she is now down to 35 pounds. Flicka has a smaller frame, and she would be best around 20 pounds. 

As Flicka loses weight, she is more playful, and her energy level has increased. She expresses her enthusiasm with barking, hopping, and occasional nips. She is never aggressive though. 

In her foster home, Flicka gets along well with the other dogs, although she doesn’t play a lot with them. 

She loves balls and will play fetch for a little bit (but not very well). 

Flicka would love to be the apple of your eye. Won’t you give her a home? 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
