Shiva is a small, sweet beagle, who needs a little extra patience and a little extra love, because she's still a little skittish. Shiva is a low energy 7 years old, weighs 18 lb, is spayed and recently had a dental cleaning. She is heartworm positive, but she just had her heartworm shots. She needs a new family who will stay on top of her heartworm preventions. Shiva loves to be in the same room as her family, and she loves to cuddle on the couch. She is crate trained, and she sleeps in her crate at night and she goes in her crate when her family leaves the house. Though she is house trained, if you leave her out of her crate when you leave the house she will pee in the house because she's upset you left her. She doesn't have separation anxiety, she doesn't chew anything up, but she has a little revenge piddle in her. She gets along great with other dogs, she doesn't mind if other dogs invade her personal space, her foster parents assume she would get along great with nice cats and kids as well. Shiva is a happy-go-lucky girl whose tail wags when she sees you, but when you bend down to pet ger she sometimes backs away, because she's still a little scared. Shiva really loves walks, she can hardly contain herself on a walk, she gets so excited. However Shiva cannot go on strenuous walks for 3 weeks due to her recent heartworm shots. Though Shiva is a little skittish, this little girl will warm right up to her new family and be a terrific addition to your household.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
