Roxy is a very sweet 6 year old female, 38lb beagle mix. She has the most gorgeous underbite, and is low energy, she's happy just hanging out in the same room as you, but does chase her tail from time to time. She was surrendered by her owner who went into a nursing home due to early dementia, Roxy's owner was heartbroken when they surrendered her, because she's such a good girl, but we know she's going to find the best home. Roxy is spayed, HW negative and in very good health, because her previous owner cared for her so much.

 

Roxy follows her foster around from room to room, she likes to be in the same room as her humans. She gets along well with other dogs, but does prefer a little extra attention, so she'll push other dogs out of the way to get more pets. Roxy DOES NOT like a crate, we assume it's because her previous owner never crated her, and she doesn't know what it is. Roxy is completely house trained and, we're happy to report there's been no accidents or tearing things up, so she's safe to leave out of a crate.

 

Roxy would love to cuddle on the couch or in bed with her new family members. She is excellent on walks, though Roxy is strong, she doesn't pull, unless she sees a squirrel. Roxy was a little anxious at first because she's never been in another home other than her previous owner's. She does bark for a little while when you first leave, she's not suited for apartment living, but she does settle down and fall asleep after a while.
