Burton, a two-year-old male weighs about 22 pounds.  Good things come in small packages.  He is smart, affectionate and playful. He loves to sleep on the big bed and snuggle with his people.  He loves toys and playing tug of war with us or with the other dogs in the household.  He does not like being on a leash, and he is good at slipping out of collars and harnesses, so he needs to be on a secure halter.
 

Burton is heartworm positive.  He can be adopted while undergoing treatment is the adopter is local and can transport to our vet in Thonotosassa.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
