Sleepy is a total sweetie!  He is approximately 4 years old and although we know very little about his history, from his adorable antics and well-mannered inside behavior, he must have had some kind training in the past  Sleepy does very well in car rides and he is extremely intelligent.  He is the first dog to ever discover and use the doggie door in his foster home without any human assistance (treat-bribing).  He is certifiably a beagle - the only trait that can outweigh his curiosity is his food-drive.  He gets along great with his foster siblings so he would be a wonderful companion to another dog.  Additionally, he is not interested in either of the cats in his foster home.  Sleepy is crate trained and has no problem going into it at feeding time or when the humans need to run an errand.  He is so good that, most times when his foster simply begins scooping the dog food into the various bowls, Sleepy will calmly wait inside his crate for the food without begging or any of the like.  Sleepy is ready to complete your home and bring all his cuteness.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
