Beagle : : Female (spayed) : : Senior
Beatrix is a senior that is new to the rescue and we are still learning about her. Beatrix’s likes toys. After Beatrix adjusts to your home, she likes petting and belly rubs also. Beatrix’s has demonstrated some preference towards the female foster parent that set in quickly. Some dogs do just like one gender more than the other. However, she will still accept the affection of the foster father. Beatrix will sleep in her crate at night. In the morning Beatrix has been reluctant to stay in her crate as she desires more human contact and play time. Tethering has been a strategy that has given Beatrix more space then a crate while still keeping her world small. Beatrix took about three days to adjust to her new foster home. It is expected when she is adopted that there will be an initial adjustment period required. Beatrix came to the rescue with Sienna. If by chance you’re looking for two dogs please also consider Sienna, as these two dogs have lived together and are being fostered together.
