Isabella should be the code word for sweetheart! Isabella is a small girl with a big heart. She uses the dog door at her foster home very well and is learning to eat in her crate. Like a true beagle, after meal time, she’ll make rounds of her foster home to be sure no kibble was left over in the other dog bowls. Isabella loves to be near her human - she frequently will curl up beside one of her foster parents just to be close. Isabella does not like taking baths at all but could be convinced with a treat. She does not pay much attention to the two cats in her foster home but she plays well with other dogs.

Please note: Isabella is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing pre-treatment.  Until she has had her heartworm treatment injections she is only eligible for adoption within one hour of Tampa.  Please speak with your adoption counselor with any questions about our heartworm treatment protocol.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
