Minnie Mae is sweet girl who is timid at first encounter with her human but after a little time, she is sweet as could be. Minnie Mae is indifferent to the two cats in her foster home and she can act a bit jealous of the other dogs in the house at times - when she wants attention, she’d like your full attention. She needs help with becoming house broken but she does very well with eating in her crate. She does not particularly enjoy taking a bath but she does not beg for food when her humans are eating.

Please note: Minnie Mae is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing pre-treatment.  Until she has had her heartworm treatment injections she is only eligible for adoption within one hour of Tampa.  Please speak with your adoption counselor with any questions about our heartworm treatment protocol.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
