Blanche is a timid dog at first, but with a little time and positive attention, she is a great companion.  
As we have gotten to know her, we have found that she strongly prefers men and would do best in a home where she can be with a man most of the time. 
 

  Blanche is a bit afraid to trust strangers so patience is needed but the result is a loyal and loving member of the family.   She has a true beagle bay so she (and your neighbors) would likely do better in a large yard.   Blanche gets along well with other dogs and she is curious about cats (but she has warmed up to her foster family cats).   She loves being outdoors but in the evening, she is most likely found curled up in her bed or anywhere near her human.  She is not good with children. 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
