Beagle : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
Bo is great with kids, great with the other dogs, decent on the leash. He's a good boy in the house BUT will pick up things and chew. He is definitely a young dog and needs to be supervised and loves to play, play, play. He prefers to sleep with someone and right up next to you. He has had 2 accidents in his foster home but is generally reliable to follow the others out. I think he can be considered housetrained for sure. His foster family hasn't seen any aggression with the other dogs or around food. He loves toys and destroys some. Bo loves to give kisses and is extremely friendly. Bo would do best in a home that has someone home, perhaps only working part time or a family with different shifts. He would be very unhappy crated 45 hours a week and I fear he would howl and disturb neighbors. We think if he must go to FT working family, he would do best with another dog in the house (even crated) so that he has an additional outlet for his energy. An idea family would be very active and engaged with him on a daily basis.
