Tobie is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves the great outdoors. We'd think he'd make a great hiking buddy! He must have had a larger dog or two as one of his ancestors, because he's a big-boned, sturdy guy. He has some guard dog tendencies, such as alerting anyone of any viscous squirrels that may happen to be lurking in a nearby tree. He loves squeaky toys, but is not to good about sharing them yet (he's working on it!). Toby is a down-to-earth, goofy guy who'd love the chance to meet ya!

This dog is heartworm positive. Interested applicants must commit to the proper treatment plan as prescribed by Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue including: feeding provided medications before and after heartworm treatment, bringing the dog to a designated veterinary clinic in Tampa Bay for an overnight heartworm treatment, and following all recommendations for post treatment care. All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
