Hi!  I'm Detroit and I'm about 6 years old.  I used to live in a rabbit hutch that never got cleaned out.  I was lucky that a meter reader found me in the back yard after my owner passed away.  I hadn't had anything to eat for over 2 weeks!  But I am ready to put all that behind me and start a new life with you!

I've never lived in a house before so I'm a little timid about new things.  I love love love sleeping on soft things like couches and beds.  I know to do my pottying outside.  I like to play with my foster sisters and brothers.  Kids are nice and I've never met a cat.  (Honestly, I'd probably be too scared of it to even mess with one.). I don't really like the crate (it reminds me of my old life) but I'm trustworthy enough to be left out.  Who knows! I may even learn to like my crate later on.  

I had heartworms and I just went through treatment. The only step left is to take Predinosone for a bit.  Don't worry though, it's all getting taken care of.  I'm a good boy about taking my medicine.
