Merle II is a sweet boy who is learning how to be a pet. He spent most of his life in an outdoor pen which makes him wary of new humans. He is fully house trained and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is very shy at first and it took a few weeks before he was comfortable in his foster home. He is now learning how awesome cuddles are and his foster family is seeing great improvements every week. He will need a quiet, patient family to teach him. He was heartworm positive when he came in, but has finished his treatment and prednisone.  

At this time, we believe Merle will do best in a home with other dogs where he can have companionship.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
